Top Contributing Lawyers

The leaderboard ranks advocates by what they actually contribute in public: questions answered, upvotes received from other lawyers, answers marked best by the person who asked, and consultations completed on the platform.

Each of those carries a weight in a single engagement score, calculated on the server so the ranking cannot be gamed from the client side. Self-reported achievements are deliberately excluded — nothing here is claimed rather than earned.

The point is to make reputation legible. Before you engage an advocate you can see how often they help, in what areas, and what their peers think of the quality of their reasoning.

Reading the board is straightforward. An advocate high on it is answering regularly and being endorsed by other advocates for the quality of those answers, which is a different and harder-earned signal than a star rating collected from a handful of clients. Ratings from completed consultations are shown separately on each profile, so you can see both the peer view and the client view.

Cases won is deliberately not a metric here. It is self-reported, unverifiable and easy to inflate, and on a legal platform that kind of claim misleads exactly the people least able to evaluate it. Everything on this board is derived from activity the platform itself recorded.

The rankings are also a fair reflection of where expertise sits by area rather than by seniority alone. A five-year advocate who answers property questions carefully will out-rank a twenty-year generalist who does not participate, which is the intended outcome.

Every listed advocate is Bar Council verified. Rankings update continuously as new answers, upvotes and completed consultations come in.
