Legal Research Hub for India
The Legal Research Hub brings India's main case-law and case-status sources into a single search surface. Look up a pending matter by CNR number, party name or advocate, read the hearing history, and follow the same question into reported judgments without re-typing it into four different websites.
Case status, cause lists and party or advocate lookups are drawn from eCourtsIndia coverage of District Courts, High Courts and tribunals. Full-text judgment search draws on IndianKanoon, which indexes Supreme Court, High Court and tribunal decisions along with bare Acts.
SCC Online and Manupatra remain subscription products with editorial headnotes and commentary. The hub does not resell them; it hands your query off to them with the citation or search terms already filled in, so a paid subscription is used from the same workflow instead of a separate tab.
Advocates can connect their own eCourtsIndia or IndianKanoon API credentials. Keys are encrypted at rest and used only for that advocate's own searches, which means practices with existing subscriptions get their own rate limits and coverage rather than sharing a pooled quota.
Any case found through the hub can be added to a watchlist. The platform re-checks tracked matters on a schedule and notifies you in-app and by email when the case status changes or a new hearing date is listed — useful for matters where the next date is set in court and never communicated.
Visitors who are not signed in can run searches and see truncated results. Signing in unlocks full records, CNR detail pages, cause lists and case tracking.
